    What Is Ozone Therapy

Ozone is essentially a super-charged form of oxygen with the unique ability to disinfect. This fights off many different types of bacteria that cause periodontal diseases, dental pain, and tooth decay.
Dr. Taylor will use ozone dental therapy when he needs to clean out certain areas of the mouth, especially after extracting an abscessed tooth. This helps prevent a dry socket and reduces the pain that is normally felt after an extraction.

    Benefits of Ozone Therapy

Because of this, Ozone can often be used to help treat infections that are conventionally treated only physically (through the removal of the biofilm by a dentist or hygienist), or through antibiotics.

It can also help disinfect areas of the mouth after a tooth extraction, pre-wash surgical sites, and in other similar procedures.

Ozone has been used very successfully to treat periodontal disease. In this procedure, 3 ozonated water is flushed below the gum line, or ozone gas is infiltrated into the gum tissue and supporting tissue to restore the health of the mouth.

I would give 500 stars if I could! I have never been treated with such warmth and kindness in my entire life by a dental office. DR Taylor is stellar! And his staff amazing. I have extreme anxiety/panic disorder due to past unfortunate assault. And had extremely horrible teeth due to tons of chemotherapy that in turn caused me to unfortunately need all my teeth extracted and dentures. Dr. Taylor along with Lupita, and his team not only listened to my back story but made sure I was in control. They explained every single detail and were so patient with me. Even before the surgery, Dr Taylor said a prayer with me. They made sure I was so very comfortable during the surgery. It went so much better than I feared and now I have my dentures and Dr Taylor gave me my smile back! Not just physically but literally!!! I no longer have to cover my mouth while talking or smiling for so many years I did. Im emotional just saying this. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone and everyone I can reach. It's truly amazing that I get to see God's work done through this office. I'm healing and cannot be happier with my total experience. Love them all!!!!
